The Samarpan Building is where you’ll find us, right there on Victoria Road in Andheri East. Room 304 is where the magic happens, if you want to call it that. It’s mostly just a lot of logistics work and making sure things get where they need to go. Andheri is always moving, isn't it? The noise from the street comes right up into the office, but we don't mind much. We’ve been at this for some time. There are boxes everywhere and the phone rings pretty often, usually someone asking where their stuff is. We just tell them the truth about the traffic. It’s a practical kind of job. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the deliveries on track. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait around, which is when we usually grab a snack. The office isn't decorated much, just the usual calendars and some old chairs that have seen better days. It feels lived in. We know the security guards downstairs by name and they know us. That makes the long days a bit better. Vrl Logistics isn't a place with marble floors or fancy coffee machines. It’s just a workspace on the third floor. We keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks. When the clock hits five, we’re usually still finishing up, but that’s just part of being in this business in this city. It’s a good way to earn a living.
