VK Plastics

The shop is at number five inside the Nigos Industrial Estate. It is on Cama Road Number 2, which is part of the bigger Cama Industrial Estate in Goregaon. Being so close to the Western Express Highway is both good and bad. The noise never really stops and you can hear the trucks shifting gears all day long. Inside the shop, things are a bit cramped. We have machines and stacks of plastic bits everywhere. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the metal roof. There is a small fan that doesn't do much but we keep it running anyway. Most of us have been working here for years. We know where every tool is, even if the place looks a mess to someone walking in for the first time. The floor has some oil stains and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but that isn't really a priority right now. We just focus on getting the orders out. Sometimes the highway traffic gets so backed up that it takes forever for deliveries to arrive or leave. We usually spend that time sitting on the stools out front, watching the cars crawl by. It is just a regular industrial unit doing its thing. We aren't a big fancy company, just some people working in Goregaon trying to keep the machines running and the customers from complaining too much about delays.
