Vitalchemie Corpn. is tucked away in the Andheri Industrial Estate, right at unit 125. If you know Veera Desai Road, you know it can get pretty crowded around here, but it's a good place for a business like ours. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time. It’s an industrial area, so there are always trucks moving and people loading things nearby. We don't really do much in the way of decoration; it's mostly just shelves, desks, and the usual office supplies. Our days are filled with phone calls and checking on shipments of chemicals. Everyone in the office has their own way of doing things, and we don't have many formal rules about how we talk to each other. It’s a bit noisy sometimes because of the neighbors, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the inventory matches the books. It’s honest work, and we don’t try to make it sound like anything more than it is. Most of us have lived in Mumbai our whole lives, so we’re comfortable with the pace of Andheri West. We grab lunch from the local stalls and get back to it. It’s just a group of people trying to keep a steady business going. We handle a lot of different chemical products, and the warehouse side of things keeps us pretty busy most afternoons.
