Our office is located in the New Excelsior Building on A. K. Nayak Marg, specifically on the 5th floor. We’ve been operating Navdeep Chemicals from here for a long time now. It’s a busy part of the city, and the building has been around for ages, so it has a lot of character. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and stacks of papers related to the chemical trade. We don't actually keep any chemicals here in the office, this is just where the administrative side of things happens. It gets quite busy during the middle of the day with people coming in and out for meetings or deliveries. The hallways are a bit narrow, and the lighting could definitely be better, but it’s our workplace and we like it. We focus on getting the orders processed and talking to the suppliers on the phone. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a glossy magazine. It’s just an old-school office where we get the work done every day. Some of the staff have been with us since the very beginning, so we’re a bit like a small family. We drink a lot of chai and spend a lot of time looking at various spreadsheets and ledger books. It’s straightforward, no-nonsense work. We don’t even have a big sign outside or anything, you just have to know to find the right floor in the building.
