Shikha Garments

Shikha Garments is located at B 01 Viva Tarangan out in Virar East. It’s a straightforward little shop where we handle various types of clothing for the people nearby. Being in a residential-commercial complex like Viva Tarangan means we see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. We’re not some big mall store; it’s more of a local spot where people come when they need something specific or just want to see what’s new. The space is a bit small, so we have to be clever about where we put everything. Sometimes boxes are stacked a bit high against the walls, but we know what’s inside them. The staff here is just a few of us who live in the neighborhood. We don’t go in for big sales pitches or anything like that. If someone likes a piece of clothing, they buy it. We spend our time checking the stitching and making sure the colors are right before putting things out. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front, but we have the fans going. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like we’re part of the neighborhood. It’s a quiet life for the most part, punctuated by the usual rush hours when people are heading home. We just keep things running, pay the bills, and try to make sure the quality of the garments stays decent. It’s not a complicated business. We just do the work.
