Creation Clothing Company

If you’re looking for Shop No. 18A, you have to head into the Everest Shopping Center on Nehru Road. It’s right there in Santacruz East, which is always a bit of a scramble with people everywhere. Creation Clothing Company is a small spot, but we pack a lot into it. There’s barely enough room to move when we get new stock in, and the racks are usually pretty full. We spend most of our time talking to customers or fixing displays that people have rummaged through. It’s a local shop feel, nothing like those big malls where nobody knows your name. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the shopping center stays pretty much the same. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles a bit when it's really hot outside, but we just keep the fans going. It’s mostly just a few of us running the place, handling the sales and making sure the clothes look decent. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people in, or they just stumble upon us while they’re out doing their other errands on Nehru Road. It’s a simple business, really. We show up, we hang the clothes, and we try to help people find something that fits. It’s a bit cramped, and the lighting is sometimes a bit dim in the back corners, but it’s home for us during the work week.
