You’ll find us over at Lucky Industrial Estate in Udyog Nagar. It’s tucked away near Kamat’S Club off S.V. Road in Goregaon. Viraj Polyplast Technologies (P) Ltd has been operating out of this unit for a good bit now. Being in an industrial estate means there is always noise—trucks coming in, machines humming, and people shouting over the din. We deal with plastics and technology, so there’s a lot of technical stuff happening on the floor. It’s not the cleanest environment, but that’s just how industrial work goes. We spend a lot of time checking the molds and making sure the settings on the machines are correct. Sometimes a machine breaks down and the whole afternoon is spent fixing it with grease on our hands. Goregaon is a busy hub, and being near S.V. Road makes it easier for the transport trucks to get in and out, though traffic is always a mess. We have a small team here, and everyone knows their role. We don’t bother with fancy offices; we’d rather be on the floor seeing what’s being produced. It’s practical, everyday work. We handle the orders as they come, try to keep our heads down, and get the shipping out on time. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but we get the job done.
