You can find our office at 102 in the Andheri Industrial Estate, which is just off Veera Desai Road. Being located in Andheri West means every morning is a bit of a scramble with the heavy traffic and the crowds of people heading to work. Our space at Vipul Dyes-Chem is a little bit tucked away from the main noise, which is a relief once you actually get inside. It is an older building with a lot of character, and it serves its purpose for what we do every day. We have tall shelves filled with containers, samples, and old ledgers that have been there for years. The air inside sometimes has a faint smell of chemicals, but it’s nothing we really notice anymore. We spend the bulk of our day coordinating between the people who supply us and the customers who need their orders. It involves a lot of typing on old keyboards and talking on the phone for hours. We have a small, mismatched table in the corner where we sit down for tea and a bit of a chat. The elevator in this building is famously slow, so most of us just take the stairs to the first floor to save time. It’s a very busy environment with people constantly coming and going from the other units in the estate. We don't have any flashy posters or modern lighting. It is just a place where we handle the business of dyes and chemicals. The windows look out onto the back alley.
