Up here at Gharda House on Hil Rd, things stay pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. We’ve got a lot of stuff going on at Plot No. 48, and if you ever visit, you’ll notice the distinct smell of a working chemical plant. It’s not a place for fancy clothes; most of us at Gharda Chemicals Ltd. are in lab coats or work gear all day long. We spend a lot of time looking at beakers and monitors, trying to make sure the batches come out right. It’s technical work, but we try to keep things grounded. The building itself has been around for a while, and it has that lived-in feel where everyone knows where the best tea is served nearby. We don’t really do the whole corporate polish thing. Our desks are usually covered in notes and old reports, and the hallways can get a bit crowded with supplies. We just focus on the chemistry and making sure the production line doesn’t hit any snags. It’s a lot of responsibility, especially with the materials we handle, so we stay pretty focused. Sometimes the equipment acts up and we have to spend the whole afternoon troubleshooting, but that’s just part of the routine. We’re just a bunch of regular people who happen to know a lot about chemicals. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time, and we just keep our heads down and do the work we know how to do.
