You can find us in Masjid Bunder, which is one of the busiest parts of the city. Our office is on the 4th floor of Rawal Chambers on Samuel Street. If you’ve ever walked down Samuel Street, you know it’s famous for chemicals and dyes, and that’s exactly what we handle. It’s a very old building and the stairs are quite narrow. We’ve been here at number 339/41 for a long time. The whole area is filled with the smell of different powders and spices. It’s a bit of a maze getting around with all the handcarts and people rushing by. Our office is small and filled with samples of dyes and chemical records. We spend a lot of time dealing with traders and wholesalers who come into the market. It’s a traditional way of doing business, lots of face-to-face talk and tea. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or modern glass walls. It’s just a plain room where we do our work. Being on the fourth floor gives us a bit of a view of the street chaos below, but mostly it’s just where we keep our files and take our orders. The market here moves fast, and we just try to keep up with the daily demands. It’s a gritty, hard-working part of town, and we’re just one small part of the whole system. There is always someone coming in to check on an order or ask about prices throughout the day.
