Kolor Jet Chemical Pvt. Ltd. is based out of the Raj Ratan Industrial Estate in Malad West. We’re at B/5, right on Liberty Garden Road. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not the most glamorous place, but it works for what we do. We deal with chemicals and industrial supplies every day. It’s messy work sometimes and the warehouse can get pretty hot during the summer months when the sun is beating down on the roof. We’ve been in this spot for years now. Most of the people working here are from around the neighborhood. We know the other business owners on Liberty Garden Road pretty well. We aren't some massive multinational corporation with thousands of employees. We’re just a local company trying to get orders out on time for our customers. Sometimes the trucks are late or a shipment gets delayed in traffic, and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s just life in an industrial estate. We spend most of our time managing stock and talking to suppliers on the phone. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we do. We like being in Malad. It’s got a good community feel to it. People know they can come by and talk to us if they need something specific for their business. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on doing our job and hoping people come back. It's been working for us.
