Hardik Dye Chem Industries

Naren Nagar is a busy little pocket of Thakurli East. Hardik Dye Chem Industries is tucked away in the Bankim Wing, specifically in room 402. It’s not a huge industrial plant like people might think from the name. It’s more of an office where we handle the business side of dyes and chemicals. Being on the fourth floor means we get a bit of a breeze when the windows are open, which is nice. The building is older, so the elevator is sometimes a bit moody or slow. Most of us just take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. We’ve been here for several years now. You can hear the local trains passing nearby if it's quiet enough in the afternoon. The desks are usually covered in folders and small sample jars. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. We don't really do walk-in customers, so it's mostly just us and the delivery guys. Thakurli is a tight-knit place, everyone knows everyone. We go down for lunch at the local places nearby. The work is steady, nothing too crazy usually. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. There’s no big neon sign outside, just a small plate by the door. It’s a practical setup for what we do. We don't need much more than a desk and a phone to keep things running. It’s a simple life for us here in Bankim Wing.
