If you walk down Linking Road, you will find us at 5 Ab Hil Foodland. Vinita Art Jewellery has been in this spot for a while. Linking Road is always crowded with people looking for deals, and our little shop is right in the middle of all that chaos. We sell all kinds of jewelry, mostly the shiny stuff that people like to wear for weddings or just going out. The shop is not very big, so we have to be careful about where we put things. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases because they get dusty from the street outside. It is just a couple of us working here. We start the day by arranging the necklaces and earrings on the stands. It takes some time because the pieces are so small. Some days the rain comes down hard and we have to pull the shutters halfway, but people still peek in. We talk to everyone who walks through the door, whether they buy something or not. It is nice to hear the stories of where people are going. We don't do any big advertising. People just find us while they are out walking. It's a bit of a squeeze inside when it’s busy, but we make it work. It’s just a normal shop trying to do things right and make a living like everyone else around here.
