Vimal Export

You’ll find us at 114 Zaveri Building on Keshavji Naik Marg, right in the Masjid Bunder area. It’s a very old part of town and it’s always packed with people and carts. Vimal Export has been operating from this building for a long time. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with shipments to worry about that. We handle exports, which means a lot of checking lists and making sure the boxes are labeled right. It can get stressful when a deadline is coming up. My cousin works with me, and we have one other person to help with the heavy lifting. We don’t have any big corporate philosophy. We just get up, come to the building, and try to make sure everything gets where it needs to go. The neighborhood is noisy, and you can always smell the spices and goods from the other shops nearby. We often eat our lunch at the desks while we work. It’s a simple operation. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy furniture. We’d rather just focus on the work itself. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, and other days we are running around until late at night. That’s just the nature of the export business in this part of the city. We try our best and that is about it.
