Vikram Tour & Transport

Running Vikram Tour & Transport keeps us on our feet from early morning. We operate out of Shivraj Bhavan on Elphistan Road West. If you know the Matunga Road area, you know how packed the streets get when the trains are running. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a few chairs and a table that’s been wobbling since the day we moved in. The phone rings a lot, usually someone asking about a car or a bus for the weekend. We have drivers coming in and out, complaining about the potholes or the heat on the highway. We just listen and hand them their next trip sheet. It’s a busy life. Elphistan Road has changed a lot, but our corner of Shivraj Bhavan stays the same. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and there’s always a faint smell of petrol from the street outside. We don’t bother with fancy slogans or big ads. We just focus on keeping the vehicles clean and making sure the keys are in the right hands. Sometimes a customer comes in and sits for a chat while they wait. We offer them water and talk about the weather or the local news. It’s a simple way to run a business. We’ve been around for a bit and we plan to stay right here on Matunga Road as long as people need a ride.
