Vikash Career College

We are located right in the Indul Estate area of Vikhroli East. It’s an industrial estate, so there’s always a bit of noise from trucks and small factories nearby. It’s not your typical leafy campus, but it works for us. People come here to Vikash Career College to get some practical skills so they can actually find a job in Mumbai. The building is a bit functional—lots of stairs and narrow corridors that get crowded between classes. We don't have a big grassy field, but we have rooms where we teach and talk about careers. Being in 400083 means we are right in the thick of things. Students come from all over the suburbs, usually rushing in from the railway station. The atmosphere is pretty busy and focused. We don't spend time on fancy speeches or any of that visionary talk. We just focus on the lessons and making sure everyone understands the material. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we all take the stairs, which is good exercise anyway. It’s just a regular part of life here. Our staff are practical people who have worked in different fields before. We don’t have a lot of fluff in our teaching. It’s just about getting through the day and helping people move up in their lives. It's a bit dusty because of the industrial area, but we like it just fine. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
