Terna Nursing College is located over in Mankhurd, specifically at 2/4, Nagesh Kamble Chawl in the Agarwadi area. It’s a very local spot in Mumbai, and the neighborhood is always full of life. You can see our students coming and going in their uniforms, often carrying heavy books or talking about their clinical shifts. The building is part of the community here, surrounded by regular homes and small shops. We don't have a massive campus with gates and guards; it's more of a practical space where people come to learn how to be nurses. The rooms are often filled with the sound of lectures or students practicing their skills. In the afternoons, it can get quite warm, so we keep the fans going as much as we can. Being in a chawl area means we are right in the middle of where people live, which feels right for a nursing school. We spend a lot of time coordinating schedules and making sure the classrooms are ready for the next group. It’s a lot of paperwork and organizing, but we stay on top of it. There are no fancy fountains or big statues here, just some desks, chairs, and people trying to study. We’ve been part of the Mankhurd landscape for a while, just doing our thing in Agarwadi and helping people get their training. We often have to rearrange the chairs for different classes.
