Vijay Laxmi Educational Institute

We are located right in Mumbai, though the city is so big it feels like we are just one small part of it. Vijay Laxmi Educational Institute started because there were so many students around here looking for extra help with their studies. We don't have a massive campus or anything. It's just a few classrooms where we gather and go over lessons. The rooms can get a bit cramped when everyone shows up at once, and the fans are always humming to keep the heat down. Mumbai is a noisy place, so there’s usually the sound of traffic coming through the windows while we work. It’s a simple setup. We have some chalkboards, some benches, and a lot of books. I’m one of the people who teaches here, and we have a couple of others who help out. We aren't a fancy private school with a big gate. Most of our students live in the nearby blocks. We try to keep things affordable because we know how it is for families in the city. Some days are stressful when exams are coming up, and everyone is a bit on edge. We just do our best to explain the subjects clearly. It’s not perfect, and sometimes we run out of chalk or the lights flicker, but we keep going. It’s a local place for local students who want to learn.
