Vidhya Lifters

Vidhya Lifters is based out of Worli, in B D D Chawl No 58. We are in Room No 6, which isn't a huge space, but it works for what we need. Being near Mahindra Tower makes it easy for people to find the general area. We handle lifting equipment and related services around here. It’s heavy work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. The chawl is a lively place to work from. There is always someone talking in the hallways or the sound of the city coming through the windows. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a functional base where we keep our tools and coordinate where the machines need to go next. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing them. That’s just the nature of this kind of business. We’ve been here for a long time, and the neighbors all know what we do. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just want to make sure the jobs we take on are finished properly. It’s a lot of manual labor and practical thinking. If a machine needs moving, we figure out the best way to do it without making a mess of things. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us moving from one day to the next. We just keep our heads down and do the lifting.
