Versova Welfare Hall

Aram Nagar No 1 is a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here. We are located right near 7 Bungalo in Andheri West. If you find the Fisheries College, you’ll see us right across from it. Versova Welfare Hall has been a part of this neighborhood for quite some time. It’s a plain building, nothing too flashy on the outside. We host all sorts of things, from small gatherings to local events. The hall itself has that old Mumbai feel to it. The fans hum pretty loudly when it's hot, and the floors are that sturdy tile that's seen a lot of feet. Being in 400058 means we are right in the middle of everything. You can hear the traffic from the main road, but inside it’s usually just the sound of people talking. We don't have a big marketing team. Usually, it's just someone coming by to ask if the date is free. We spend a lot of time fixing the lights or moving chairs around for the next group. It’s a practical space. People like it because it’s easy to find once you know the landmark. The college students are always walking past, and the area stays busy until late at night. We just keep the place tidy and make sure the doors are unlocked when they need to be. It’s just a community hall doing what it’s supposed to do for the neighborhood.
