Vellinkar Hospital

Vellinkar Hospital is located right at 28/ B in the Savla Sadan Building. If you are driving on R C Marg in Chembur, we are easy to spot because we are right below the Chembur Ghatkopar Flyover. It can be a bit noisy with the cars going over the flyover, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Our hospital is not one of those massive glass buildings you see in the magazines. It is a local place for local people. We have been serving the Chembur area for a long time. People come here because they know we are familiar faces. The hallways are not huge, but we make sure there is enough space for everyone. I remember when we first opened; things were much quieter around here. Now, Mumbai has grown so much. We have different wards and a small staff that works around the clock. It is hard work, especially during the nights. We see all kinds of cases every day. Some people just need a quick checkup, while others stay with us for a few days to recover from an illness. We try to keep the atmosphere calm despite being near such a busy road. The Savla Sadan Building has its own history too. We feel like a part of the fabric of this neighborhood. It is just a place where people come to get better when they are feeling sick. There is always something going on here.
