Sahyadri Farmers Producer Co. Ltd. operates out of an office in the Cyber One building in Sector 30, Vashi. We are very close to the Vashi Railway Station and the Cidco Bus Stop, so it is quite easy for people to find us if they are taking public transport. The building is one of those modern ones near the Cidco Exhibition Center, which is a bit different from the farms where our members actually work. Up on the 15th floor in suite 1503, things are usually quite busy with people coordinating between the farmers and the markets. We aren't corporate types in suits; most of us are just here to make sure the logistics of the produce are handled correctly. There is always a lot of talk about crop yields and delivery schedules in the office. It can be a bit hectic when a large shipment is coming through, and the phones don't stop ringing. Vashi is a major hub for trade in Navi Mumbai, so being here makes a lot of sense for a producer company. We spend a lot of time on our computers and phones, but the focus is always back on the land and the people growing the food. It is a lot of work to keep everyone organized, but we just take it one day at a time. We don't have a fancy reception area, just desks and people working.
