Vasa Hospital

Vasa Hospital is tucked away on the ground floor of the Swing Building. If you know where the Laxmi Narayan Temple is on Marve Road, we are right across from it. Being so close to Nutan High School means there’s always a lot of noise and kids running around outside during the day. Malad West is a busy place, and our hospital fits right into the mix. We aren't a massive medical center with glass walls. It’s a more practical, down-to-earth space. People come here when they aren't feeling well or need something looked at. We see a lot of local families because we’ve been in this spot for a bit. The staff here knows the routine well. We deal with whatever walks through the door at any given hour. Sometimes it’s just a quick fever check, other times it’s something more involved that takes all afternoon. The waiting area has enough chairs, though it can get a bit cramped when it's raining hard outside and everyone crowds in to stay dry. We try to keep things moving so no one is sitting around for too long. Working in a hospital means you see a lot of different things every single day. Some days are harder than others, but we just try to help out where we can. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to patients, but that’s just the nature of the job. If you’re coming from the school side, just look for the temple and you’ll see us right there in Malad West. We keep the doors open and just do our work day by day, hoping everyone feels a little better when they leave.
