V K Logistics

V K Logistics is situated in Office No 505, way up on the 5th floor. We are in the building near Rajg Masjid, specifically the Radhekishan Vila area. Being on the fifth floor means we get a bit of a view, but mostly we are just looking at the tops of other buildings and the street below. The lift breaks down sometimes, so we end up getting a lot of exercise on those stairs. Our daily routine involves a lot of tracking and tracing. We sit in front of screens watching little dots move or waiting for a phone call from a warehouse. The office feels a bit cramped because we have folders stacked up everywhere from years of records. It’s a busy atmosphere with three or four of us talking at once. We handle a lot of local transport stuff, making sure things get from the docks or the trains to where they belong. Radhekishan Vila is a lively spot, so there is always somewhere to grab a quick snack when we are too busy for a real lunch. We don't really do much marketing or anything like that; people just know we are here in the Masjid area. It’s just regular work, nothing too exciting, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Some days the paperwork feels like it’s never going to end, but we eventually get through the pile and head home when the sun goes down.
