V Art

We are located over at Tayeb Manzil on 1st Road in Old Khar West. It is an old building on Plot No 81/85, and it has that classic Mumbai feel to it. Working in this part of town is nice because the streets have a bit more character than the newer areas. At V Art, we mostly focus on the work right in front of us. The space is filled with whatever project is happening that week, so there might be some frames leaning against the wall or brushes sitting in a jar of water. It is not a showroom where everything is shiny and perfect. It is more of a workspace where things actually get made. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside a bit messy, but it is a good spot to be. We have been here for a bit, getting to know the neighbors and the people who walk past every morning. We do not really do big advertisements or anything like that. People usually find us because they live nearby or someone told them we were in this building. It is quiet inside most of the time, which helps when you are trying to concentrate on small details. If you happen to be walking through Old Khar and turn down 1st Road, you will find us easily enough. We keep the doors open when the weather is decent, and there is always something new to look at on the tables.
