Jagdish

We’ve been here at NSB Road for a while now. Most people know the Poojari Hotel nearby, it’s a busy spot in Mulund West. Being at 824/A keeps us right in the middle of things. It gets loud outside with all the traffic and people walking by, but that is just how Mumbai is. We open up early and stay until the work is done. It isn’t fancy here. The walls could use some paint maybe. Sometimes the fans make a clicking noise when they are on high speed. My cousin helps me out when things get busy in the afternoons. Most of our regulars just stop in because they live in the building or work around the corner. We know most of them by name. It’s a small space, so you might have to squeeze past a box or two if we just got a delivery. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the name Jagdish. People find us anyway. Sometimes the rain gets in a bit near the door when it pours. We just mop it up and keep going. It’s just a normal place where we do our daily work. Nothing more to it. We don't spend money on ads or anything like that. If you are near Trimuti, you’ll see us. It’s just how we run things every day. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Just working hard in Mulund.
