Trishna

Being on Sai Baba Margh, right next to Commerce House in the Kala Ghoda area of Fort, is quite a unique experience. It’s a historic part of Mumbai, and you can feel that when you walk down the street. The buildings around here like the one Trishna is in are old and have a lot of character, though they can be a bit damp during the monsoon. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. It used to be much quieter, but now there are galleries and cafes everywhere. Our space stays pretty much the same, though. It’s got a bit of a cramped feeling because we have so many things tucked into every corner. The lighting isn't the brightest, and the wooden floors sometimes creak when you walk across them. We don't spend a lot of time worrying about the decor or keeping everything perfectly polished. People know where we are, and we like being in this part of town because it’s so central. There’s always a crowd outside near Commerce House, which makes the street feel alive. We get our work done amidst the noise of the city. The staff here has been around for ages, so we all know how things work. It’s a simple setup in an old building, and that’s just fine with us. We just keep doing what we do every day.
