Utsav Restaurant & Banquets

Being in Prabhadevi is busy work. We are on Deshpande Road, right near the ICICI Bank and the Kala Academy. It is a good location for a place like Utsav Restaurant & Banquets because there is always something going on in this part of Mumbai. We have the restaurant side and then the banquet space for when people have functions or small gatherings. Mumbai is always moving, so we have to move fast too. The hall gets used for all sorts of things, from small weddings to simple family get-togethers. It is a lot of coordination for our small team. One day we are setting up for a lunch, and the next we are clearing out for a meeting. The staff stays on their feet most of the day. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many people coming in and out from the bank and the academy nearby, it is a constant effort. The kitchen is the heart of the place. It gets hot and loud back there, especially when we have a big order for the banquet hall. We have had some of the same people working here for years. They know the shortcuts around the neighborhood and where to get the best ingredients from the local markets. We do not do much fancy talk here. We just provide the space and the food. It is a practical business. If you are walking down Deshpande Road, you will see our sign. We have been a part of this street for quite a while.
