Urban Design Diamond Jewellery Designing Consulting is our long name, but mostly we just focus on the drawings and the stones. We are located at 17/B in Monarch Nagar, which is part of Andheri East. The office is right opposite Cox & Kings, so that is how most people find their way to us. It’s a busy street, but inside the building, it’s mostly just the sound of pencils on paper or clicking on the computer. We do a lot of consulting, which means we spend hours talking through ideas with people who want something special made. It’s not a jewelry shop where you see things in glass cases; it’s more about the planning and the design side of things. We have stacks of design books and loose papers everywhere. The lighting has to be just right so we can see the details of the work. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when a deadline is coming up, but mostly it is a quiet process. We’ve been in Monarch Nagar for a while now and we like the vibe of Andheri East. There are plenty of places to grab a quick lunch nearby, which is good because we often work through our breaks. It’s a small, dedicated team here, just trying to get the designs right for whoever walks through the door. No fancy showroom, just a workspace.
