Upasna Enterprises

Upasna Enterprises is located in the Adhyaru Industrial Estate, right in the Sun Mill Compound in Lower Parel. Being in this part of Mumbai means things are always crowded and moving fast. Our unit is number 311. It’s an old building, the kind with those heavy manual elevators that take forever to arrive. Inside our space, it’s mostly shelves and desks piled high with papers and samples. We do a lot of coordinating between different suppliers and customers. It gets pretty loud outside with all the construction and the trains nearby, but we’ve learned to talk over it. We aren't some high-end firm in a glass tower. We’re just people working in an industrial estate, trying to make things work. The office is small and we usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background while we work. We drink a lot of coffee from the stall downstairs. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes when a lot of orders come in at once, but we manage to sort it out. We’ve been at this for a while and we know most of the other people in the building. It’s just a typical day-to-day operation where we try to stay on top of things and keep our customers happy without any big fuss. We aren't doing anything fancy, just moving goods and talking to people.
