Universal Machinery & Services

You can find us at G/11 in the Tarun Industrial Estate on Mogra Road. We are right in Andheri East, not too far from the Reliance Share Office. It’s a busy pocket of the city where there is always some kind of construction or delivery truck blocking the way. Universal Machinery & Services is a small operation, and our ground-floor unit is mostly taken up by the machines we work on and the spare parts we keep in stock. It’s a bit dark inside sometimes, but we have plenty of work lights to see what we are doing. The air is usually thick with the sound of the nearby traffic and the occasional hum of a motor being tested. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea seller knows exactly how we like our drinks. Our day-to-day is pretty simple: we look at what needs fixing or servicing and we get to it. There isn't much room for a fancy sitting area, so if you visit, you might end up standing by the workbench. We like it that way because it keeps us close to the work. Some of the equipment we handle is heavy, so there is a lot of lifting and shifting involved throughout the day. We aren't a corporate giant, just a local service spot trying to stay on top of the workload. It gets hot in the summer, but the fans keep things moving and we just get on with the job as best we can.
