Universal Engineering Company

Universal Engineering Company is based in the Ebrahim Compound, which is right off the Sion Trombay Road in Chembur. It’s a gritty, hardworking kind of place, which is exactly how an engineering shop should be. We are at 4/4 in the compound, and you can usually hear the sound of machines or tools going if you walk by. Chembur is an area with a lot of history in industry, and we are glad to be a part of that. The compound gets quite busy with trucks and workers, so there is always a lot of movement. We don’t have a fancy front office with air conditioning and soft chairs. It’s mostly metal, oil, and hard work around here. We spend our time fixing things, building parts, or figuring out how to solve a mechanical problem for a customer. The Sion Trombay Road is right there, so the traffic noise is just a constant background for us. We’ve got a small team that knows their way around the shop floor. We don't use big words or try to impress people with fancy brochures. If something needs to be engineered or repaired, we just look at it and get to work. It’s honest labor, and that’s what we’ve always been about. Our neighbors in the compound are mostly like us, just people trying to get their jobs done and go home at the end of the day.
