Regal Engineering Company

Our place, Regal Engineering Company, is located at C/26 in the Laghu Udyog Kendra on I.B. Patel Road. It’s right in Goregaon East, which is a busy part of town to be in. We’ve been set up in this industrial estate for quite a few years now. The space is mostly taken up by our machinery and worktables. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when we have a lot of material delivered, but we make it work. I.B. Patel Road can get pretty crowded with traffic, so we usually get our deliveries in early. We aren't the type of company with a polished front office or people in suits. We’re usually in our work clothes, covered in a bit of grease or metal shavings. It’s just the nature of engineering. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, with new buildings going up, but the Laghu Udyog Kendra stays pretty much the same. We know most of the other shop owners around here. We just focus on getting the orders done right and on time. There’s no secret to it, just showing up and doing the labor. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we just deal with it and move on. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. If you need to find us, just head down I.B. Patel Road and look for the Kendra entrance. We’re in the C block, number twenty-six. We keep the floor swept but it never stays clean for long.
