M. A. U. Engineering Works

M. A. U. Engineering Works is tucked away in Gala-8, right near the Zakaria Compound. We are on Dargah X Road in the Tilak Nagar area of Sonapur, Bhandup West. It’s an industrial pocket where you’ll hear the sound of machines running all day long. Our unit isn't very large, but we have our lathes and tools packed in there. It’s a greasy, busy place because we are always fixing or making parts. We spend most of our time in our overalls, getting things done for the local factories and workshops. Being in Bhandup West is convenient because there are so many other small businesses around if we need a specific material. The address can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the Zakaria Compound area, but once you’re on Dargah X Road, you’ll hear us. We don't have a fancy office or a secretary. It’s just the workers and the machines. Sometimes we have to work through the weekend to finish a repair. It’s a lot of manual labor and technical stuff. We don't put out ads or anything; people usually come to us because they heard we could fix their equipment. The gala is a bit old, but it works for what we need. We focus on the metalwork and making sure the dimensions are right. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning till night. We just keep our heads down and get it done.
