Jambuwant Engineering

If you come down to Waluj M. I. D. C., you will find us at Jambuwant Engineering. It is not a quiet place at all. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of the machines running in the background. We have been in this industrial area for a good number of years. Our workshop is filled with lathes, drills, and bits of scrap metal waiting to be used. The floor has seen a lot of oil spills over the years, and no matter how much we scrub, it stays that way. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have a small corner with a desk and a couple of old ledgers where we keep track of the jobs. Most of the day, we are out on the floor with our sleeves rolled up. It gets really hot in the summer, so we keep the big shutters open to get some air moving. The tea we make on the little stove in the back is what keeps us going through the afternoon. We know the other guys working in the nearby units, and we often help each other out if a machine breaks down or someone needs a specific tool. It is a no-nonsense kind of life here. We take pride in just getting the parts made correctly and on time. We do not have a marketing person. People just know us because we have been here at Waluj for so long. There is a radio playing in the corner sometimes, but you can barely hear it over the noise.
