Unique Corner

Unique Corner is situated right at the corner of Masjid Dhobi Galli and Yusuf Meherali Road, at number 161. It is a very busy intersection with lots of trucks and people carrying goods. The area is always humming with activity. Our shop is right in the middle of it. We call it Unique Corner because of where it is, really. We sell a variety of things, mostly small electronics and mobile accessories. Because of the location, we see people from all over the city passing through. It is a small space, so we have to hang things from the ceiling and stack boxes high. It gets quite dusty with all the traffic outside, so we are always wiping things down. We don't have much room for sitting, so we are usually on our feet all day. It’s a practical kind of business. We see what people are looking for and try to have it in stock. Yusuf Meherali Road is famous for being busy, and being on the corner means we see everything that happens. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer. It is a lot of hard work but it is interesting to meet so many different people every day. We just keep things moving and try to be helpful for anyone who walks in.
