Being in Thane means we’re right in the middle of a very busy part of the Mumbai area. It’s a residential spot, so we’re surrounded by families and neighbors. We do our agro farming business from here, which might seem a bit strange given it’s an apartment complex, but it works for us. We handle the administrative side of farming. There’s a lot of coordinating between the actual fields and the buyers. Our office is small and filled with files and maps. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations. We’d rather focus on the actual business of farming and supply. The traffic on Hatkeshmira Road can be a nightmare sometimes, but that’s just part of living here.
