Ultratech Cement

Ahura Centre is where we keep our main office these days, and it is a pretty well-known spot in the Andheri area. Working for a cement company like this involves a lot of moving parts, but our day-to-day life here is mostly centered around the office. It’s a large building, and it can feel a bit like a maze if you aren't used to it. We spend most of our time on the phones or dealing with paperwork related to the cement supply chains. The traffic on the roads outside is probably the biggest challenge we face every day. Andheri is always congested, so just getting into the office can be a bit of an adventure. Inside, it’s a standard corporate environment, but we try to keep things relaxed among the staff. We don't have a storefront where you can see the product, as cement isn't really something you put on a shelf. It’s all about the logistics and making sure the big loads get to the construction sites on time. We take our lunch breaks in the small pantry or sometimes head out to one of the local spots if we have the time. It’s steady work, and there is always something to keep us busy. We have been in this building for quite a while now, and it has become a very familiar routine for everyone on the team.
