Ultra Tech Cemet Ltd.

Our office for Ultra Tech Cemet Ltd. is on the first floor of the Ahura Centre, which is located on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, so getting here in the morning is always a bit of a struggle with the traffic. The building is quite large, but our space is just a regular office setup. We have a lot of people working on phones and computers to manage the cement distribution for this region. There are always piles of maps and delivery schedules on the tables. It’s not a very quiet place because of the constant buzz from the street and the air conditioning. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, mostly just calendars and a few safety posters. We spend a lot of time talking to the depots and the site managers. Sometimes we have to stay late to make sure all the orders for the next day are ready. The lobby of the Ahura Centre is usually full of people from different companies, but once you get to the first floor, it’s just our team doing our thing. We don't use any fancy corporate language when we talk to each other. We just focus on the numbers and the logistics. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we’ve got a good routine down.
