Ujjval Press is located at number 11 in Manik Tola, which is just off Aarey Road in Goregaon East. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main highway, but it’s still got plenty of activity. Our press is a small place where we handle all kinds of printing jobs. You’ll notice the smell of ink and paper as soon as you step inside. We have stacks of paper everywhere, some waiting to be printed on and some already finished and ready for pickup. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we have our own system and we know where every order is sitting. We use a couple of different machines that can be quite loud when they are running, so sometimes it’s hard to hear the phone. Most of our work comes from local businesses or people in Goregaon who need cards, flyers, or small booklets made. We spend a lot of time checking the colors and making sure the edges are cut straight. It’s a bit of a messy job with the ink getting on our hands, but that’s part of the trade. We’ve been here for a good while, and many of the neighbors know us by name. We just focus on getting the printing done right and keeping the machines running. If you are walking down Aarey Road, look for the Manik Tola turn-off and you’ll find us tucked away there.
