UFO Revolving Restaurant

Our place is up in Dimple Arcade, which is part of the Thakur Complex in Kandivali East. We are right behind the Saidham Temple. The main thing people notice is that the restaurant actually moves. It’s a revolving setup, so you get a different view of the Asha Nagar area while you eat. It’s not a very fast turn, just enough to see around. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood grow a lot. The interior is a bit different from your usual local eatery because of the circular shape. We serve various types of food, mostly what families in the suburbs like. It can get pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights because of the location in Thakur Complex. The staff works hard to keep things running, especially the mechanism that moves the floor. Sometimes customers get a bit surprised when they realize they aren't facing the same window they started at. It’s a bit of a landmark in this part of Mumbai. We don't claim to be the fanciest place in the city, but we provide a different experience. Most of our visitors are local families celebrating a birthday or just coming out for a meal. It's a steady business and we just focus on making sure the kitchen is ready every day. We don't really do big advertisements, the spinning floor usually gets people talking enough.
