We are located in Flat no. 2 at Laxmi Bhuvan in Sion East. It’s right next to the RBI staff quarters, so it’s easy to find if you’re in the neighborhood. Using a flat as an office gives it a different feel than a standard commercial building. It’s a bit more personal, maybe a bit more cramped with all the files, but it works for us at UCIL Synchem. We deal with various chemical products, so there’s always paperwork and samples lying around the desks. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed most days. We don't wear ties or follow strict corporate rules. It’s just a small group of us trying to keep the business running smoothly and efficiently. Being in Sion is great because the connectivity is good for our suppliers, even if the traffic on the main road can be a bit much during the day. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now, and we’re quite comfortable in this space. We don't put out a lot of brochures or do much marketing at all. Most of our work comes from long-standing contacts who have known us for years. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks, whether that's handling orders or talking to people. It’s a practical, low-key operation without any unnecessary frills. We value the fact that we can just do our work without a lot of drama. That’s the way we’ve always run things here in Sion.
