Two White Birds

Two White Birds is situated at No. 7/50 in Motilal Nagar No. 3, Goregaon West. We are quite close to the Jain Hospital, which is usually how we tell people to find us. This isn't a big business district; it’s more of a regular neighborhood where people live and work side by side. Our workspace is humble and a bit crowded. We have a lot of materials tucked into every available corner. We started this because we had an interest in textiles and wanted to see what we could do on our own. It is a small operation, and we don't have any fancy titles. Most of the time, we are just busy checking the quality of the fabric or talking to the people we buy from. Goregaon is a loud and busy part of Mumbai, so there is always the sound of traffic in the background. We have a small table where we sit and have our meals together. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just talk like normal people and focus on the work at hand. Sometimes the power goes out, or a delivery is late, and we just have to deal with it. It’s a very real, everyday kind of business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image; we just do what we do.
