True Value Enterprises

This shop is tucked away in the BMC Shopping Centre in Tardeo. We are over at shop number 7. Most people around here know the spot because we’re right near Pinky Wine and the Maheshwari Society. It’s a local place through and through. True Value Enterprises has been sitting in this same corner for quite some time now. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. It can get pretty cramped with all the stock we keep, but that’s just part of running a shop in this part of Mumbai. People from the nearby buildings stop by all the time. Sometimes they stay to chat, other times they're in a hurry. We mostly deal with the day-to-day items people need. It isn't a glamorous job, just honest work in a busy market. The area around Tardeo is always moving, and we are just one small part of that. We try to keep the shelves organized, though it feels like a losing battle some days. We open up early and stay until the evening. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where people can find us. If you walk past the shopping center, you’ll probably see us there behind the counter just doing our thing. It keeps us on our toes and we get to know everyone who lives in the neighborhood quite well.
