Triple Roadlines

Our shop is right at the corner in Jogeshwari East, part of the Lal Buildi area near the BMC School. It’s a small place, officially Shop No 1, and it’s always got a bit of a crowd around it. Being near a school means there are always kids and parents passing by, so it’s a lively spot. We deal with road transport, so there’s a lot of talk about routes, fuel prices, and truck drivers. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in looking to move some goods. We’ve got a couple of old desks and some benches for people to sit on while they wait for their paperwork. It gets pretty dusty because we are right on the road in Lohar Chawl. We don’t have an air conditioner, just a big ceiling fan that rattles a little bit. We’ve been in this neighborhood for years, so we know all the local shortcuts and the best times to avoid the traffic. It’s a straightforward business without any bells and whistles. We make sure the loads are secured and the drivers have their directions. Sometimes things get delayed because of the weather or the mountain passes, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time. There's no need for fancy things when you're just moving freight across the state.
