If you come to Masjid Bunder West, you'll find us at Tricon Cargo Movers. We are in Building No 324 on the 3rd floor. Being near the Masjid Bunder Railway Station is quite convenient but also very loud. You can hear the trains all day long. Carrying things up to the 3rd floor can be a bit of a task, so we use the pulley systems or just tough it out. The air around here always smells like the sea and spices from the nearby markets. We handle all sorts of cargo. Most of it is just boxes and crates waiting to be shipped out or picked up. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and warehouse people. My workspace is just a wooden desk with a lamp. It gets dark in the corridors of these old buildings. I’ve been in this line of work for a long time. It’s not a glamorous job. It’s mostly about making sure the labels are right and the cargo gets to the right truck. Sometimes the rain makes the streets outside very muddy, which makes loading difficult. But we just deal with it. It’s part of being in this area. We keep things moving as best as we can from our floor in building 324. There is always someone shouting instructions or moving a trolley, but we are used to the noise and the constant movement of goods.
