Our office for Tourist India Pvt Ltd is located at Shop No 6 in the Vagdevi Building in Mahim. We are pretty close to Saraswati Mandir High School, so we see the students and parents passing by every day. Mahim is a crowded part of Mumbai, and our little shop is right in the middle of it. We’ve been working from this spot for a long time now. We handle travel arrangements, so the office is usually filled with papers, maps, and the sound of the phone ringing. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters. It’s just a small shop where a few of us work. We spend our time talking to people about where they want to go and trying to get all the details right. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when everyone calls at once, but we manage. The building itself is an older one, and we know all the other shopkeepers around here. We usually grab our tea from the same stall every afternoon. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a shiny website that does everything. People mostly come to us because they’ve heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We just focus on the work and try to be helpful to anyone who walks in. It’s a regular Mumbai life, busy and a bit messy, but we’ve been doing this for years and it suits us just fine. We just keep at it every day.
