Topaz Restaurant & Bar

Topaz Restaurant & Bar is tucked away in the Party Wala Building. That is a funny name for a building, I know, but that is what everyone calls it around here on M S Ali Road. We are on the ground floor, specifically in rooms 5 and 6. It is not hard to find us if you know where the Novelty Cinema is in Grant Road. We are basically right behind it. Being in Mumbai, it gets pretty loud and crowded outside, but once you step inside, it is just us. We have been here for a good bit of time now, working under the Golden Enterprises name. It is a busy neighborhood and there is always something happening on the street. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic, or we have to fix a light bulb that keeps flickering in the back room. We do not have any fancy decorations or anything. It is just tables and chairs and the bar. People come in after work to sit down for a bit and relax. We see the same faces every week, mostly folks from around the neighborhood or people who work near Grant Road. We just keep the doors open and do our thing every day. It is a lot of hours, and sometimes we are pretty tired by the time we close up, but it is what it is. We are just a regular spot in a very busy city.
