We’ve been here at Shop No 1, 2, and 3 for a while now, just across from Siddharth Banquet Hall. It’s a busy spot in the Rto Lane of Andheri West. Being in 4 Bunglows means there is always something happening outside our door. Most people around Mumbai know this area gets crowded, but we like it that way. Our chairs stay busy from morning till evening. We just focus on hair. If you need a trim or something different, we are right here. The shop is easy to find if you are coming from the main road. We don't do much fancy talk, we just work. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, and the mirrors need a quick wipe, but that is just how a real salon feels when it's full of people. We’ve seen kids grow up coming here for their first haircuts. It feels like a neighborhood spot even though the name is big. Most of us have been working these same stations for years. We know the regulars by their first names and how they like their tea. There’s no need to make an appointment weeks in advance, though it helps on Saturdays. Just walk in and see if a chair is free. We are just a group of people who enjoy cutting hair and talking to the folks who live around Andheri. It's a simple life here in the shop.
