Tokyo Time

Tokyo Time is over here in Kandivali West, specifically in the Yogeshware Estate area. We are located on A E C Amraiwadi Road 1. It’s a bit of an interesting spot, and people sometimes have a little trouble finding the exact entrance the first time they visit. We mostly focus on watches and timepieces, which is what the name suggests. It’s a small place, but we try to keep it clean and organized. We have different types of clocks and watches on display, some new and some that have been sitting there for a while. Dealing with watches requires a bit of patience and a steady hand. I spend a lot of time looking through a small magnifying glass at tiny gears and batteries. It’s quiet work for the most part, though the street noise outside can be quite loud. We don’t have a big team of people. Usually, it's just one or two of us here to help whoever walks in. Some folks come in just to get a battery changed, while others are looking for a gift. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just show what we have and let the customer decide. The lighting in the shop is bright so we can see the small parts clearly. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. We’ve been in this estate for a good bit now and have grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood.
